Position 1

今天又是一場練習賽,教練指示是要比最佳時間快點,
最終還差一秒多才到最佳時間。
賽前其實很害怕,兩星期前的一個長課練習因腳痛加劇而上岸,
翌日本來要到鹿兒島進行高質集訓,結果要重新調整。
主課完全跟不上女團,被教練怪罪自己沒有做好準備。
而傷患嚴重了全因自己一路以來自制能力差,
令問題不斷重複,自責得要命。
不是沒有嘗試改變,而是每次最終都失敗,
集訓回港再作新嘗試,今回比賽看看成果。

賽事回顧:
1km - 跟著前幾名女子,比預期慢了4-5',還是看定點
2km - 意外地還感輕鬆,中段屢試突圍,但被外圍女子夾住了,碰碰撞撞,險些 kick 倒,再次保守著跑
2.5km - 發現有出路,而領先者越跑越慢,就一支箭向前邁進
5km - 教練不斷吶喊,我頭也不敢回,第一次在外賽勇敢地帶頭跑,而且是我很弱的最後第四公里開始!

只可惜未達教練要求,還被教訓一頓,跑姿很死力,
帶頭了便不進取,連舊有的衝刺力都消失了 /_\
其實自從傷勢變差後,每次速度課末段都會出現數次發軟蹄、窒步⋯
很抱歉,自問成為不了他說的精英跑手,
可以貫徹始終,兼顧一切。
不完美,會再盡力爭取完美,好嗎?

Today race is a practice again. The instruction of coach is a few seconds faster than my PB. Finally my time is 1 sec slower.
In fact, I was very afraid before the race because my injury worsened making me stop in the last few kilometres of a long run session two weeks ago. I was supposed to go to the Kagoshima camp the day after for a short high-intensity training. So the whole plan had to be amended without choice.
Fortunately the pain reduced after treatment from coach's massager friend. However I couldn't catch up the local girl team for the sole main training.Coach blamed on me for not equipping and taking care well in HK.
I have to admit that I am used to be an undisciplined / low self-control ability athlete. The same problems just keep repeating along and this time the 'bomb explores'! I was just guilty to death.
Having tried to make changes, though failure is resulted every time. Re-manage again after camp and see how it's going to happen in the races.

Race review:
1km - Followed the first few girls and observed. Few seconds were slower than expected.
2km - Still felt easy owing to slowing down again. Tried to break a siege but nearly fell down. Continued to be conservative.
2.7m - Found a way out! Dashed and surpassed the leader whose pace kept slowing down.
5km - coach kept on shouting and I was not dare to look back. This is the first time I ever lead bravely especially the 4th km is used to be my weakest point.

Nevertheless, I was not able to reach coach standard and was admonished that my running posture was very strange and the final kick didn't present as usual..
Actually after the injury deteriorated, my right hamstring will temporarily feel powerless and brake towards the end of speed workout whenever I attempt to use force and accelerate.
Sorry that I could not be one of the elite athletes who are able to follow through and balance everything.
I am not perfect but will strive harder for perfection, ok?
